Inca
Elixir
Don’t ya
find chocolate always rescues you when you’re feeling blue?
Even when
you’re red or white, it makes the night just right
Romance
without chocolate is like baseball without a ball
It can’t
be denied that sweet or bitter, it makes you emotionally tall
Brown,
black or white there’s no disharmony in its world
Surely
teaches us a possibility that we can, all told
Bless the
Inca’s wherever they rest in history’s well
They
discovered the cocoa bean, no wonder they hid it under green hell
Cadbury
came calling and delivered delightful drink in London
Spirits
rose and it became popular during the time of capitalism’s freedom
To
chocolate it was then devoted and forever a love affair was started
Throughout
the world the blue colors represented along with Nestle’s red
Think of
chocolate and surely a smile spreads
So lucky
are we to be around during chocolate’s wide tread
Once I
start I can’t stoop until only the wrapper’s left
Banish
guilt for what’s been done is creating a happiness felt
