One Again
Emptiness
is the color of the millions dead
Burnt to
ashes after the ground ran red
Hatred
the fuel that burned and rent
Delivering
into nothingness - humanity’s dread
But,
they’re remembered, they’ve not died
They’re
with us and we stand with pride
In the
quiet Hall the flame burns constantly
The outer
rooms see the flags and books silently
Hills of Jerusalem, our ancient
home
Their
House now stands in Judea, forever the tome
We carry
them with us and strength is their gift
We
declare “Never Again” upon the Masada rift
Listen to
the silence as tears feel
The
sirens throughout their Nation peel
We think
and for a time we are with them One again
We return
to the present and say Amen
