Demolition By Fear

Demolition By Fear

They look upon their sons doting
It wasn’t meant to be this idolatry
From small they believe they’re protecting their tree
In fact they’re destroying it over protectively

Love is the emotion meant to strengthen virtue
For love is to build so they can stand as strong as a statue in situ
But fear reigns as comfort and privilege ordains
By right becomes the refrain and betrayal of virtue a stain

Defense of their realm thru’ sacrifice of the politically powerless
See, society as an entity wasn’t meant to be
The scion under family lockdown, mentally undone
Fragility always lurking and anger weighing a ton

Disintegration becomes the societal conflagration
Separation and destruction of the middle classes
Strength has no emotion and is commanded by evolution
So goes the future when the powerful are fearful
