Truth In
Reflection
Sometimes
we bristle when we see ourselves in another
Usually
it’s unexpected and is felt a bother
Sometimes
we happily reflect to have seen ourselves in another
Usually
it’s unexpected and viewed as a charming cover
Uniqueness
is a human trait for we’re commanded by logic and state
Conflict
‘twixt the two is a situation that can grate
Reconcile
your human indecision with decision tinged regret
The
longing look back to childhood days of straightforward fact
But
simplistic solutions are rarely resolutions
Always
hidden are the realities beneath in seclusion
Narrative
is a guarded prisoner to the truth
Lest the
narrator look less before the story sleuth
In the
dark when we reflect and see mortality
We admit
who we are and know fraud from reality
How can
you feel pride when the mirror derides
It’s
identity suicide and it’s not on your side
