Versus
Empathy
makes for reflection
It causes
a feelings connection
Emotions
do flow and it weighs
Anger or
happiness causes these tears
Yet, this
is not universal
There are
the visceral
Reactionary
not intellectual
Superficial
versus the real
Disdain
for the vain
Seeing
only their life’s lane
Spiraling
inwardly their drain
Pernickety
petulance their penny refrain
Reality
versus imaginary
Complaining
about scenery
Take a
close look and its greenery
So often
it’s not the tattlery
