Anti Trust

Anti Trust

Heavy hearts and spirits of the trusting
Voted for peace but appearing is trust busting
Politicians lying on their own volition
Makes one wonder if anarchy really is anachronism

Where’s your other face for it’ll lead to disgrace
Campaign promises are not made for doubting Thomases
Trusting people are those that defend the line
Drawn from the dawn of New England time

A spinning tale has two sides to see
For it’s made up by those that count two as three
Know well who your adversaries are
For you’ll see them even if they’ve put you in a jar

Playing devil’s advocate’s for when the truth’s not known
Beware of emotion for it’s the oil that takes one down
Why do adversaries still smile rather than frown?
Perhaps it’s because they’ve sold you the Emperor’s gown
