Justice Guilt

Justice Guilt

Smite the Amalekite’s, goes the line
Protection of justice is the only fair climb
Yet compelling emotions from dark origins
Inflicted into minds of those swords, pains

Set out to compartmentalize those aches
Until the mind forever forsakes
Pre-existing training on the way to independent thought
Unbendable even, so learn to live with unearned guilt

Tautology secures the action, one step before logical justification
This step to the edge the limit, unable to break the ache
It is morality’s loneliness, without an analgesic antidote
Physical wretchedness from tears or being Quixote

No surrender is possible for it’s your mind chemicals
Always feasible is a bender, those mind altering consumables
Run away from the world to forget it is a circle not rounded
You’ll come face to face with yourself, so I hope you’re grounded
