And Now
Anathema
When
regret raises its head, it’s like a screw destroying its thread
Colors
elicit reminders that torment inside your mind
A smile
remembered has torture in its shine
A look
that warmed is now shattering and not divine
Broken
mornings where the sunshine’s harsh
Life
feels laden down in a marsh
Love’s
destructive ability, its secret capability
Is it a
gravity pull so it’s only physical?
Disjointed
abstracts are emotion’s suicide pact
Lingering
feelings adsorbed to chemicals
Surrealism
inflicting onto reality
Do I want
you to hate or love me?
Either
emotion raising indecisiveness
Time for
reason’s loneliness
You’re
gone and this weakness is an abscess
Time to
live at this disjointed address
