Antecedent
When the
angels turn angry, be terrified where you tread
Betrayal
of their trust is something to dread
Their
defenses are down and vulnerability’s their crown
It
reflects who you are, either a predator or a prince
So many
seek power because they’re inadequate
Thru’
life they’ve learned their identity’s bereft
They’ve
succumbed to weak nature, the angels scorn
Ideal
pasture for the demons to be drawn
Alas the
allure of riches and celebrity is elixir to all
Virtue’s
the first to tremble then fall
Endurance
is a trait that can decide fate
Regardless
if it makes a whore or a mate
Then
comes guilt after the warmth has gone
Recrimination
reflects from the mirror of one
To
assuage guilt, an accusation is done
Regardless
whether there was agreement or none
