Angel’s
Treachery
The
doldrums roll in from hiding, for they never leave
Melancholy
chromosomes that cleave
Then the
nihilists start from their psyche den
You count
to ten pretending it’ll end with Zen
Alas it’s
not fleeting and for too many towards their ending
There’s
no solace and no mending
So
desperation smiles with chains of vile
A mirage
of soothing nectars as warm as the Nile
Civil war
between mind and emotion
Incitement
agent, the chemicals that constitute your ocean
Raising
the anger of loneliness in your mind
This game
within, slides along lunacy’s treacherous bind
So which
one charges thru’ your veins?
Is the
weapon of premature death calling your name?
Sunshine
behind the clouds screams to you loud
Is purist
evil not that which deliberately hides life to be found?
