Biting
Scream
Pleasant
day to chew and smile
Along
comes a bite of hostile
A scream
a yell seemingly from the depths of hell
Nothing
so mild, a tooth has rung its bell
Novocain’s
the blessing that imprisons pain
Happiness
no less than leisure time’s cocaine
Saving
angel in white ready with needle in sight
Hot stream
into the mouth as it punctures in delight
To fill a
miscreant tooth is a mild tap
Best is
root canal that’s no fictional spinal tap
The
crowning glory is always extraction
Nobody’s
favorite but the last resort vacation
Then it’s
done and the aching has gone
No cold
water torture that lingers and weighs a ton
Biting
scream from the shooting pain is none
Once more
the world is normal and a smile is the sun
