Leave
your mind at the door
Religion
comes a knocking as the poor
Believe
in what you can’t see
Devote to
everything by decree
Evil is
reason you’re told, Aristotle magic
Deny your
mind in the comfort of the illogic
Back down
into the mud, smiles at regression
Let
emotions run wild and pretend that’s progression
Control
the human and enforce tradition
Old men
in white beards stinking of garlic and mold
Promises
of everlasting life sucking the feeble into the fold
Fear, the
constant intangible, powering the group fully sold
Suffering
truth in logic and reason will make you treason
But cling
to the only truth, the individual of freedom
Think
forever, for they can’t break your mind
Rather
destroy humankind, than give in to religion
