Desperation of the Damned

Desperation of the Damned

They say body clock of the damned, but night is my day
In the shadows lurk the dark girls, ready to lay
I’m so easy because night is oil for the soul
Magical like ebony chocolates in a chalice bowl

A bright moon that makes night people swoon
Electric chic and satin sheets is a sexual monsoon
Sidewalks where cats and the damned like me meet
Listen to the laughter on the drunken fun street

Jack Daniels Coke or gin tonic mix
Crash the heavy metal sweet and spin the dice for tricks
But the absinthe and vermouth beckon to be kissed
Grab the nearest girl and be dissed

Near to morning light the warm bodies seek
Desperation of the damned comes after the peak
Light is so damn crass the only antidote is coffee’s lick
Time to climb the stairs and stagger in with someone holding ….
