Small minded views in smug bunting

Rigid by numbers is the age line

Caustic finger pointing at those that don’t align

Wittering by gossip-filled minds

Walls of ignorance the false safety surround

Middle-class morality dictated by biblical chastity

Repressed desires manifested in moody misery

Criticism is their specialty in self-righteousness

Obedience to mommy and daddy their pathetic sallowness

Stupid minds in protected towns all named Babel, chattering

One language until the stranger enters, shattering

What to do now that they see they’re naked and dumb

Pray to God and cover or run to the front open-eyed showing bum?

Decide whether you want the real world in Liberty of mind

Or continue to cower in that tunnel of narrow mind
