At Dusk
In the
distance, across the Mall, I see Capitol Hill
My
perspective’s from long ago, when Our Nation was so young
Time and
patience, fanaticism and flexibility
All’s
been used to subvert and shift Our Nation towards vulnerability
On the
edge we’re poised with a knife at Freedom’s jugular
Away has
been swept reason and reality into the vulgar
Relativity
and subjectivity has twisted sanity and morality
No longer
is the Constitution inevitability
I look
away leftward and see the White House
That jewel
standing strong as a roustabout
From
there we can turn back this tide of Liberalism
Regain
our poise and once again fight for Individual Freedom
For this
collectivism that pervades is a weak mawkish serenade
Riding
emotions that are the Kool-Aid
Declare
YES!, to I can think for myself and I deserve happiness
My mind
is my own and I reject value sacrifice
