Reincarnation
Loneliness
creeps until you’re unable to sleep
Infuses its
cold fingers so deep
All that
can be seen is misery in love’s drought
Only seen
is that winter hue of a sun that can’t climb out
The heart
that despairs and the mind in an endless bind
Hopeless
appears as a friendly face despite being unkind
You walk
and see anonymous faces but feel their attack
It’s the
insanity of cold emotions that haunt and track
Then
rises the questions of existence
Are we by
design, chance or part of Nature’s consequence?
You know
all it takes is a chance romance
And
suddenly it’ll all be about at least a dalliance
Emotions
rise and fall leading to summer and a snowy pall
Secret’s
to find the bedrock that draws the line
This far
down and no farther is true
Strength
is to risk and reincarnate you
