Hadrian’s
Nightmare
Disturbed
by loves lost is part of the winter frost
For a
grimacing face is a cold rain must
Summer
has gone for its southern break
One
hundred twenty days later to return all fit and sleek
The
mountains now lord over in the high North
Calling
for snow and awaking the winds to blow
Santa and
Chanukah the lights begin to glow
Pretty at
night and braving the dark, it’s a show
In the
Middle-East during winter there’s only one light
It shines
constantly to be strong to fight
In no
other place can Christians and Jews celebrate
In only Israel are they
free to chant and ululate
Christmas
is about birth and Chanukah renewal
Within a
short distance is Bethlehem and Jerusalem
Peace
isn’t a probability but security is
Within
the Jewish State there’s freedom’s face
