We glean history to prevent stupidity

Einstein taught that repeating stupidity is insanity

Yet mind brakes are a facet of humanity throughout history

Rejection of rational philosophy the reality

So we act emotionalist instead of mindset

Knowing that reason and reality are the sole objective set

When will we realize that suffering’s avoidable?

Y’see politically and socially there’s no place for the emotional

Power grabs and the latest fads

Maybe it’s all about seeking to be liked by the lasses and lads

Emotions that run and weigh a ton

Short-term gratification leading to nothing getting done

So around we go and it’s all a show

Playing dice with lives and struggling at the low

For once let’s abandon emotion and embrace the brainiacs
