For Now

For Now

Sadness in her earnest eyes
Reflecting the weight as a soldier dies
Understanding the reason why this fight
Wishing also the end was in sight

Comprehending the attitude of the world outside
That they are uncomfortable Israel is the righteous side
She wonders why they are so blind
Perhaps she forgets that the world can also be unkind

Nails usually colored black, for now crimson
While the hearts of the Jewish Nation sigh for their sons
She talks about the funeral late last night
For the soldier that died – forty thousand attending that rite

Sweet nature with fire in her manner
She wonders why the Enemy abuses their children in such a manner
She wants justice for Israel, but knows the truth
Only Israel can ensure justice for itself, the ultimate truth
