From The
Buttercup
Believe
in love despite emptiness and silence
Evidence
makes this confidence relentless
Dichotomy
of terms in belief versus confidence
For there’s
an intangible called faerie dust
Love that
face in the mirror you have to face
Even when
you fall off the narrow ledge
It’s not
about winning but never surrendering
And
love’s inherent embrace is your never quitting
Thru’ the
hot grind where the end is no nearer than the beginning
Quench
your thirst with water that doesn’t do anything
All there
is, is that belief in Cupid’s laugh
That one
day you hear it and no more will you need tough
Depression
is easy when suffering is in every facet
When
unhappiness is the thudding mallet
But
strike sadness, bitterness and regret
Drink from the buttercup and see the positives
begat
