God’s Backhander
Plaything of the universe,
this the curse
Canine-type idiocy, driven
by fear perverse
Reality past pretense,
like senility
Human mind weak from
superficiality
Don’t pray, this universe
controlled by electricity
Belief results in obsessive
concentricity
Blood of innocents shed,
their cries an eternal reject
Dreams of sublime souls,
their wishes in the dungeon of neglect
Creationist nightmare this
suffering fanfare
For no solution like a
kiss at the funfair
Time no healer but a life
long stealer
Glued up minds from
religion all singing hallelujah
So watch from outside, the
agony of the lonely mind
Straightjacket of tears as
light touches tease and wind
Fall in love with every
touch from solitary desperation
God’s backhander slams as reality reminds of your
separation
