Good So Delicate
I miss you when I don’t
think of you
My world has no color if
you’re not in the morning dew
Words don’t come smoothly
for emotions
For emotions are
complicated conundrums
Do I think before I talk,
do I look before I walk?
I look into the pool of
life to see my reflection so clear
Yet all it takes is a
speck of dust to vibrate and agitate
So I must take care and
nurture the good so delicate
I met your soul that
changed my world
Raising happiness so rare
I had forgotten that hold
And now that beauty scares
me hundredfold
So I must seek forgiveness
for overstepping bold
I will protect who is in
my soul
Is that not the reason for
being humanly whole?
My reason for being is to
be human
But I make mistakes that strike me like stakes,
for I am a man
