Braven

Braven

Life will punch you, sinuses will remind you
Reality sticks without emotional glue
Whispering, praying or incantation into the ether
Do not pretend there is no reality’s tether

When nothing equals whole
You feel you have a hole in your soul
Where the heart is supposed to be tall
Residue of loneliness slides down the wall

Nobody to witness your submission, you think
You are always there, so you are the fink
Do not be one more moral whore
Crash into life head on to discover what is in store

That decision in life when it turns its back
How to endure the rocky track
Reaching for mater or pater is craven
Wrestling life forces it to admit you are braven
