Conscious Awakening
The question is hidden by
The Bard in, To Be
His directive was to think,
be your own bee
Most important is to trust
your mind in the grind
For it can awaken in you an
amazing ability find
The sub-conscious trigger
requires that conscious awakening
One day clarity is focused
and you step without shaking
Never mind that scar in
your hand, from a torn land
Your other hand will stop
the cringing memory and you’ll stand
Stop the world in its
greedy materialist smug stupor
Petty overfed cockroaches
in self-centered protected cages
Don’t crack the mirrors,
look deep into reflections of reality
Listen for the crying
dying starving voices that never had a chance
Always tough to awaken
when your eyes are opened
Frustration, remorse or
regret can be the repercussion
But truth is reality and
that is humanity’s strength
Prevent the insanity of suicide with reason’s
great length
