world without smiles
Sounds of machines with
blips for miles
How big is an asylum when
you’re condemned to be invisible?
Does it crash your heart
when love’s reality is dissolvable?
When the innocent die,
struck by the pain of starvation
Do you realize the
significance of emptiness through deprivation?
Nothing can stop the
reality of time and the universe’s inevitability
Apparently the world is
filled with humanity
Are you struck by the holistic
or smug within your narrow comfort?
Do you believe in a
benevolent divinity or have a deistic affinity?
Question your crutch for
happiness for reality rejects sanctity
The conceited barrier of
the smug create the empty world velocity
Sympathy for the
empathizers for they feel for the emptiness
Mental illness discerned
for those who live within the empty world?
They hurt and can see
beyond their sphere
So where does sanity live, in pretense or in the
atmosphere?
