Emotion Ice Age
Where are the smiles?
The love for long miles
The angels weep as sadness
sweeps
Salt water in my soul, I’m
condemned to keep
Don’t look into my eyes
too deep or you’ll see sleet
Long winter of loneliness
that never peaks
An emotion Ice Age, love
is a frozen wreckage
Raise my world with a warm
soul; fiery leverage
Surrounded by columns of
faith, where intellectual death resides
Their love is sacrificial,
the essence of emotional suicides
Do I surrender in
desperation for their love, the highest price taker?
It will decimate all
values, protection’s undertaker
They hate those standing
on love that is the truth
So endure the cold for
without principle you can’t be soothed
Forever remembered, for no
matter what, suffering scars
But when truth finds you, the suffering matters
no more than the stars
