Looking
up at the sky thinking of billions of eyes
As from
afar in space, our world seems a peaceful place
But the
approach from without soon jars your face
An
atmosphere suddenly punches, heats and will raze your pace
Then
falling without arms outstretched to arrest your state
Pretty
reality begins to dissipate and the mind realizes it will be late
Without
preparation ugliness always breaks through first
Such as
when you’re stuck and the scenery becomes the land of thirst
Do we
laugh or cry, or as in reality do both then try?
Unique to
humanity is the unrelenting mind of knowing it can die
No
cynicism but is that the foundation of sublime human nature?
Questions
are easy but inconsequential as actions count at the critical juncture
The equation
to do no harm, perhaps help the world is in a book
Evidently
rejected by most for just listen and look
Death and
destruction of the good
But humanity
individually, where sublime resides, is the only rook
