Decisions
in Flare
Desire
for neat square predictable boxes
Yearning
for control in that perfection quandary
Do you
live or exist in your world?
To do
what’s expected or told
Then
flaunt convention if your rhythm is bold
The eyes’ll
stare and faces sneer
But too
there’ll be those that wink for your dare
Questions
asked will be why and, you’ll wonder
There’s
always the opposite side to any ride
Considering
and countering consequential tide
That’s
the dilemma, so get used to unpredictability and doubt
The lie
of certainty and a Catcher in the Rye
will make us slothful louts
Ignore
your face and make age a silly case
You know
what makes your heart sing and race
So to do
whatever it takes to get beyond existence
To live,
to strive, to be alive! ARE YOU ALIVE??!!!
