Where
Justice Reigns
Do you
cast away someone that ends your tears?
Is
betrayal morality when they’ve crashed legality?
A worthy
world would be where justice reigns
But
outside of metaphysics the choice remains
What a
charmed life have those where truth is the flame
Never
flickering, always certain is a life without cracked pane
But then
there are the ones they see through the window
It makes
them frightened for reality is not the dressing glow
Unearned
guilt is always a fashionable crowbar
It
enslaves the innocent and frightens many into the bar
But who
decides when the strong resist?
For they
will judge their own standard against a world that insists
Lie for
the ones you love and do so back
Loyalty
is that risk which is always alone on life’s track
To protect
the survival of the one you call Atlas
The
pendulum swings and to risk your life for them is no sacrifice
