Wracked

Wracked

The song cries – I am human and need to be loved
Searching for the love remembered from the womb
In this isolated world there is no love just the wound
Each of us in our own world governed by doom

Aware of false promises good intentions
Human reality is of faltering souls and weak dimensions
Emotions wracked by desire then smashed by reality
Control of oneself is such a fallacy

Abuse the substance reach for the gin again
The same desire for love for beauty for that ecstasy remains
Straight edge of easy street be damned
Struggle for the difficulty through the fear not named

Hate yourself for your weakness wracked by desire for love
Expect nothing more from Nature tortured by love
Humans divided chemically by chance you
Not to surrender to sadness is your due
