We’re Suicide

There comes a time of the concrete decline
Not inevitable but in nature indubitably sublime
‘tis the abstract that drives the crash or rise
The universe, this supra of powers can’t revise

So Mankind has to decide whether to live or die
Disobedience is treated to a merciless crash with nary a blinked eye
Obedience is loved with no end to kisses from a sky
Alas, always alas, humanity acts like an ass, with alacrity, then cries

So Goddamn all civilizations; we receive what we perceive
For ignorance after the Age of Reason is a deliberate conceive
Emotions that intervene when deciding rational mean can deceive
The task is to live with baggage as luggage and act a proper concierge

The J-curve is our clock, it ticks and tocks energized by rational nerve
Failure is reluctance to arrest 21st century fall, the surrender in vogue
Lonely stance wrecks the party and calls for stopping the rogues
But the vacuum underway sees cowardice in sway, nectar to demagogues
