Weep For
Us
When
humanity fails the angels of sublime weep
Weakness
is easily jeered but inside we cry ourselves to sleep
Vulnerability
the open target for the cruel
Themselves
feeling the guilt as they inflict trial
The
emotion which raises the hand or makes the tongue a whip
Humanness
cringing inside as witness to evil grip
No
thought about consequence
There’s
nothing to stop the inflicting hurt sequence
Do we
remember the emotion of attack?
A feeling
that is an animal in a pack
Long past
will guilt in the subconscious tap
But its
too late and the mental punishment will constantly rap
The
babies and bodies flung far and wide
Justice
is a dream as seeking forgiveness is a pointless scream
This hell
weaved around us by ourselves
No exit
or turning back, we learn to endure the nails
